Field welding — North Shore industrial
About Our North Vancouver Service
North Vancouver's industrial base runs from the Lonsdale corridor down to the waterfront and east through Lynn Valley — a mix of marine operations, automotive shops, construction contractors, and light manufacturing that depends on welding work done where the equipment sits, not where a shop is located. Raider Industrial Services dispatches CWB certified mobile welding rigs across the Second Narrows Bridge to North Vancouver sites regularly, handling everything from structural steel repairs to emergency breakdown welding on marine equipment that cannot be trailered.
Whether you operate on the Lonsdale Industrial Corridor, run an auto shop on the North Shore Auto Row, or manage a construction project in Lynn Valley, our mobile welding trucks arrive fully equipped and site-ready. We carry ISN and Avetta prequalifications, clearing most facility contractor requirements without delays. The Second Narrows crossing adds roughly 15 minutes to our response — but once on North Shore, we know the access points, the facilities, and the type of work the North Shore industrial base generates.
North Vancouver construction sites regularly have structural steel mid-installation that cannot move to a shop — cranes, frameworks, and structural connections that require certified field welding on-site. The marine and shipbuilding operations along the waterfront generate repair and maintenance welding work on dock infrastructure, vessels, and marine equipment. North Shore automotive shops frequently need structural welding on frames and equipment that is fixed in place.
Our Work

On-site structural welding
On-Site Service
North Shore construction projects, marine facilities, and automotive shops regularly need welders who come to the equipment — not the other way around. A crane boom, dock infrastructure, or structural frame mid-installation cannot be hauled to a shop. Our mobile welding rigs cross the Second Narrows and get to work on North Vancouver sites within hours of your call. Whether it's a broken weld on a piece of equipment that's stopped production, structural steel that needs a certified field weld, or an emergency repair on marine infrastructure, we come to you fully equipped.
